Pantheist Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BCBCDEDE FGFGHIHI EFEJKLKL MNMNOMOM P

Lolling on a bank of thymeA
Drunk with Spring I made this rhymeA
-
Though peoples perish in defeatB
And races suffer to surviveC
The sunshine never was so sweetB
So vast he joy to be aliveC
The laughing leaves the glowing grassD
Proclaim how good it is to beE
The pines are lyric as I passD
The hills hosannas sing to meE
-
Pink roses ring yon placid palmF
Soft shines the blossom of the peachG
The sapphire sea is satin calmF
With bell like tinkle on the beachG
A lizard lazes in the sunH
A bee is bumbling to my handI
Shy breezes whisper You are oneH
With us because you understandI
-
Yea I am one with all I seeE
With wind and wave with pine and palmF
Their very elements in meE
Are fused to make me what I amJ
Through me their common life stream flowsK
And when I yield this human breathL
In leaf and blossom bud and roseK
Live on I will There is no DeathL
-
Oh let me flee from woeful thingsM
And listen to the linnet's songN
To solitude my spirit clingsM
To sunny woodlands I belongN
O foolish men Yourselves destroyO
But I from pain would win surceaseM
O Earth grant me eternal joyO
O Nature everlasting peaceM
-
AmenP
