Though peoples perish in defeat | B |
And races suffer to survive | C |
The sunshine never was so sweet | B |
So vast he joy to be alive | C |
The laughing leaves the glowing grass | D |
Proclaim how good it is to be | E |
The pines are lyric as I pass | D |
The hills hosannas sing to me | E |

Pink roses ring yon placid palm | F |
Soft shines the blossom of the peach | G |
The sapphire sea is satin calm | F |
With bell like tinkle on the beach | G |
A lizard lazes in the sun | H |
A bee is bumbling to my hand | I |
Shy breezes whisper You are one | H |
With us because you understand | I |

Yea I am one with all I see | E |
With wind and wave with pine and palm | F |
Their very elements in me | E |
Are fused to make me what I am | J |
Through me their common life stream flows | K |
And when I yield this human breath | L |
In leaf and blossom bud and rose | K |

And listen to the linnet's song | N |
To solitude my spirit clings | M |
To sunny woodlands I belong | N |
O foolish men Yourselves destroy | O |
But I from pain would win surcease | M |
