Nature's Way Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDE FGFGHIHI BJCJKCKC

To tribulations of mankindA
Dame Nature is indifferentB
To human sorrow she is blindA
And deaf to human discontentC
Mid fear and fratricidal frayD
Mid woe and tyranny of toilE
She goes her unregarding wayD
Of sky and sun and soilE
-
In leaf and blade in bud and bloomF
Exultantly her gladness glowsG
And careless of Man's dreary doomF
Around the palm she wreathes the roseG
Creating beauty everywhereH
With happy bird in holy songI
Please God let us be unawareH
Like her of wrath and wrongI
-
Let us too be indifferentB
And in her hands our fate resignJ
Aye though the world with rage is rentC
Let us be placid as the pineJ
For if we turn from greed and guileK
Maybe Dame Nature will relentC
And bless us with her lovely smileK
Of comfort and contentC
