My Feud Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAB CDCDCD EFEFEF GHGHGH IJIJKK

I hate my neighbour Widow GreenA
I'd like to claw her faceB
But if I did she'd make a sceneA
And run me round the placeB
For widows are in way of spleenA
A most pugnacious raceB
-
And yet I must do something quickC
To keep the hag in lineD
Since her red rooster chose to pickC
Five lettuce heads of mineD
And so I fed it arsenicC
Which it did not declineD
-
It disappeared but on my matE
Before a week had spedF
I found Mi mi my tabby catE
And it was stoney deadF
I diagnosed with weeping thatE
On strychnine it had fedF
-
And so I bought a hamburg steakG
Primed it with powdered glassH
And left it for her dog to takeG
With gulping from the grassH
Since then although I lie awakeG
I have not seen it passH
-
Well that's the scoring up to dateI
And as I read a textJ
From Job to justify my hateI
I wonder who'll be nextJ
Somehow I feel that one must dieK
Ma Green or IK
