My Calendar Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IJIJAKAK

From off my calendar todayA
A leaf I tearB
So swiftly passes smiling MayA
Without a careB
And now the gentleness of JuneC
Will fleetly flyD
And I will greet the glamour moonC
Of lush JulyD
-
Beloved months so soon to passE
Alas I seeF
The slim sand silvering the glassE
Of Time for meF
As bodingly midwinter woeG
I wait with rueH
Oh how I grudge the days to goG
They are so fewH
-
A Calendar's a gayful thingI
To grace a roomJ
And though with joy of life I singI
With secret gloomJ
I add this merry month of MayA
To eighty pastK
Thinking each page I tear awayA
May be my lastK
