Maternity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHAHIJKJ ABDBLMNM

There once was a Square such a square little SquareA
And he loved a trim TriangleB
But she was a flirt and around her skirtC
Vainly she made him dangleB
Oh he wanted to wed and he had no dreadD
Of domestic woes and wranglesE
For he thought that his fate was to procreateF
Cute little Squares and TrianglesE
-
Now it happened one day on that geometric wayG
There swaggered a big bold CubeH
With a haughty stare and he made that SquareA
Have the air of a perfect boobH
To his solid spell the Triangle fellI
And she thrilled with love's sweet sicknessJ
For she took delight in his breadth and heightK
But how she adored his thicknessJ
-
So that poor little Square just died of despairA
For his love he could not strangleB
While the bold Cube led to the bridal bedD
That cute and acute TriangleB
The Square's sad lot she has long forgotL
And his passionate pretensionsM
For she dotes on her kids Oh such cute PyramidsN
In a world of three dimensionsM
