Lucindy Jane Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GHGHII IJIJHHH

When I was young I was too proudA
To wheel my daughter in her pramB
It's infra dig I said aloudA
Bot now I'm old behold I amB
Perambulating up and downC
Grand daughter through the townC
-
And when I come into the SquareD
Beside the fountain I will stopE
And as to rest I linger thereD
The dames will say How do Grand popE
Lucindy Jane with eyes so blueF
Looks more and more like youF
-
And sure it's pleased as Punch I getG
And take Lucindy on my kneeH
Aye at the risk of getting wetG
I blether to the girls a weeH
Then as we have a bottle dateI
Home we perambulateI
-
Gosh That's the joy of all my dayI
And as I play the part of nurseJ
She's got your nose I hear them sayI
Thinks I Well now she might have worseJ
And how I dream I'll live to seeH
A great grandchild upon my kneeH
Whom folks say looks like meH
