Lobster For Lunch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCB DEDEFF FGFGHH IFIFIF JKJKLL

His face was like a lobster redA
His legs were white as mayonnaiseB
I've had a jolly lunch he saidA
That Englishman of pleasant waysB
Thy do us well at our hotelC
In England food is dull these daysB
-
We had a big langouste for lunchD
I almost ate the whole of itE
And now I'll smoke and read my PunchD
And maybe siesta a bitE
And then I'll plunge into the seaF
And get an appetite for teaF
-
We saw him plunge into the seaF
With jolly laugh his wife and IG
George does enjoy his food said sheF
In Leeds lobsters are hard to buyG
How lucky we to have a chanceH
To spend our holiday in FranceH
-
And so we watched him swim and swimI
So far and far we scarce could seeF
Until his balding head grew dimI
And then there came his children threeF
And we all waited there for himI
Ah yes a little anxiouslyF
-
But George alas came never backJ
Of him they failed to find a traceK
His wife and kids are wearing blackJ
And miss a lot his jolly faceK
But oh how all the lobsters laughL
And write in wrack his epitaphL
