Little Brother Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGDGD HIHIJKJKDD

Wars have been and wars will beA
Till the human race is runB
Battles red by land and seaA
Never peace beneath the sunB
I am old and little careC
I'll be cold my lips be dumbD
Brother mine beware bewareC
Evil looms the wrath to comeD
-
Eastern skies are dark with strifeE
Western lands are stark with fearF
Rumours of world war are rifeE
Armageddon draweth nearF
If your carcase you would saveG
Hear oh hear the dreadful drumD
Fly to forest cower in caveG
Brother heed the wrath to comeD
-
Brother you were born too lateH
Human life is but a breathI
Men delve deep where darkly waitH
Sinister the seeds of deathI
There's no moment to delayJ
Sorrowing the stars are blindK
Little Brother how I prayJ
You may sanctuary findK
Peoples of the world succumbD
Fly poor fools the WRATH TO COMED
