Leaves Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACCC DEDEFE CGCGCG FHFHGH GHGHGH

The leaves are falling one and oneA
Each like a life to meB
As over soonly in the sunA
They spiral goldenlyC
So airily and warilyC
They falter freeC
-
The leaves are falling two and twoD
Beneath a baleful skyE
So silently the sward they strewD
Reluctantly they dieE
Rich crimson leaves and no one grievesF
There doom but IE
-
The leaves are falling three and threeC
Beneath the mothlike moonG
They flutter downward silverlyC
In muted rigadoonG
And russet dry remote they lieC
From feathered tuneG
-
The leaves are lying numberlessF
Disconsolately deadH
Where lucent was their sylvan dressF
And lightsome was their treadH
They rot below the bitter snowG
UncomfortedH
-
A leaf's a life and one by oneG
They drift each darkling dayH
Rare friends who lusted in the sunG
Are frailing fast awayH
How sadly soon will mourn the moonG
My dark decayH
