You've got to sweat for it | E |

It's brought me heaps of fun | G |
And now with some reserve I think | F |
My toping days are done | G |
Though at teetotal cranks I laugh | H |
Yet being sound and hale | I |
I find the best of drinks to quaff | H |
Is good old Adam's ale | I |

I do not like your moralist | J |
Who with a righteous grin | K |
Informs you o'er a pounding fist | J |
Unchastity is sin | K |
I don't believe it but I grant | L |
By every human test | M |
From parson pimp and maiden aunt | L |
Morality is best | M |

Yet what a bore our lives would be | N |
If we lived as we should | O |
It's such a blessing to be free | N |
And not be over good | O |
I value virtues great and small | P |
As I in life advance | Q |
But O the greatest sin of all | P |
