Imagination Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD ECECFAFA EGEGAHIH

A gaunt and hoary slab of stoneA
I found in desert placeB
And wondered why it lay aloneA
In that abandoned placeB
Said I 'Maybe a Palace stoodC
Where now the lizards crawlD
With courts of musky quietudeC
And turrets tallD
-
Maybe where low the vultures wingE
'Mid mosque and minaretC
The proud pavilion of a KingE
Was luminously setC
'Mid fairy fountains alcoves dimF
Upon a garnet throneA
He ruled and now all trace of himF
Is just this stoneA
-
Ah well I've done with wanderingE
But from a blousy barG
I see with drunk imaginingE
A Palace like a starG
I build it up from one grey stoneA
With gardens hanging highH
And dream Long long ere BabylonI
It's King was IH
