Fisherfolk Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDE FGFGHIHI CJCJKLML

I like to look at fishermenA
And oftentimes I wishB
One would be lucky now and thenC
And catch a little fishB
I watch them statuesquely standD
And at the water lookE
But if they pull their float to landD
It's just to bait a hookE
-
I ponder the psychologyF
That roots them in their placeG
And wonder at the calm I seeF
In ever angler's faceG
There is such patience in their eyesH
Beside the river's brinkI
And waiting for a bite or riseH
I do not think they thinkI
-
Or else they are just gentle menC
Who love they know not whyJ
Greeen grace of trees or water whenC
It wimples to the skyJ
Sweet simple souls As vain I watchK
My heart to you is kindL
Most precious prize of all you catchM
Just Peace of MindL
