Fi-fi In Bed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

Up into the sky I stareA
All the little stars I seeB
And I know that God is thereA
O how lonely He must beB
-
Me I laugh and leap all dayC
Till my head begins to nodD
He's so great He cannot playC
I am glad I am not GodD
-
Poor kind God upon His throneE
Up there in the sky so blueF
Always always all aloneE
Please dear God I pity YouF
