Facility Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGFG HBIB JKJK JLJL JMJM

So easy 'tis to make a rhymeA
That did the world but know itB
Your coachman might Parnassus climbA
Your butler be a poetC
-
Then oh how charming it would beD
If when in haste hystericE
You called the page you learned that heD
Was grappling with a lyricE
-
Or else what rapture it would yieldF
When cook sent up the saladG
To find within its depths concealedF
A touching little balladG
-
Or if for tea and toast you yearnedH
What joy to find upon itB
The chambermaid had coyly laidI
A palpitating sonnetB
-
Your baker could the fashion setJ
Your butcher might respond wellK
With every tart a trioletJ
With every chop a rondelK
-
Your tailor's bill well I'll be blowedJ
Dear chap I never knowed himL
He's gone and written me an odeJ
Instead of what I owed himL
-
So easy 'tis to rhyme yet stayJ
Oh terrible misgivingM
Please do not give the game awayJ
I've got to make my livingM
