The Elders of the Tribe were groupedA
And squatted in the Council CaveB
They seemed to be extremely poopedA
And some were grim but all were graveB
The subject of their big To doC
Was axe man Chow the son of ChooC
-
Then up spoke Tribal Wiseman WawD
Brothers today I talk to grieveE
As an upholder of the LawF
You know how deeply we believeE
In Liberty FraternityG
And likewise EqualityG
-
A chipper of the flint am IH
I make the weapons that you useI
And though to hunt I never tryH
To bow to hunters I refuseJ
But stalwart Chow the son of ChooC
Is equal to us any twoC
-
He is the warrior supremeK
The Super caveman one might sayL
The pride of youth the maiden's dreamK
And in the chase the first to slayL
Where we are stunted he is tallM
In short a menace to us allM
-
He struts with throwing stone and spearN
And is he not the first to wearO
Around his waist with bully leerO
The pelt of wolf and baby bearO
Admitting that he made the killP
Why should he so exploit his skillP
-
Comrades grave counsel we must takeQ
And as he struts with jest and jibeR
Let us act swiftly lest he makeQ
Himself Dictator of our TribeR
The Gods have built him on their planS
Let us reduce him to a manS
-
And so they seized him in the nightT
And on the sacrificial stoneU
The axe men of the Tribe did smiteT
Until one limb he ceased to ownU
There They had equalized the oddsV
Foiling unfairness of the GodsV
-
So Chow has lost his throwing armW
And goes around like every oneX
No longer does he threaten harmW
And tribal justice has been doneX
For men are equal let us seekY
To grade the Strong down to the weakY
