Dumb Swede Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IFIFJKJK ECECLMLM

With barbwire hooch they filled him fullA
Till he was drunker than all hellB
And then they peddled him the bullA
About a claim they had to sellB
A thousand bucks they made him payC
Knowing that he had nothing moreD
And when he begged it back next dayC
And wept they kicked him from the doorD
-
They reckoned they were mighty slickE
Them two tinhorns from IdahoF
That poor dumb Swede could swing a pickE
but that was all he'd ever knowF
So sitting in a poker gameG
They lost the price for which they soldH
To that bonehead a poor dud claimG
That didn't have a speck of goldH
-
My story's true as gospel creedI
Of these bright boys from IdahoF
They made a sucker of that SwedeI
And laughed to see the poor boob goF
And work like nigger on his groundJ
Bucked by the courage of despairK
Till lo A rich pay streak he foundJ
That made him twice a millionaireK
-
So two smart Alecs mighty sickE
Begged jobs at fifteen bucks a dayC
Then said the Swede Give each a pickE
And let them sweat to make their payC
And though he don't know what it meansL
Folks call that Swede magnanimousM
But picking nuggets big as beansL
you oughta' hear them fellers cussM
