Three Holies sat in sacred placeA
And quaffed celestial wineB
As they discussed the human raceA
With dignity divineB
Said they 'Although in doctrine weC
May differ more or lessD
In spirit stoutly we agreeC
Religion's a success 'E

Said One 'I praise the pride of warF
The Faith that mocks at fearG
Desire of death in battle forF
It bringeth Heaven near '-
The Second said ''Tis Peace I preachH
And hate of human strifeI
The sufferance of pain I teachH
The sanctity of life '-
-
Then said the Third 'Love I proclaimJ
The goal of human goodK
Yet are we not all three the sameJ
In holy brotherhood '-
And so they went forth hand in handL
Wending a starry wayM
Mohamet gentle Buddha andN
He of Gethsemen egraveI
