Bank Robber Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEBB FG GHH IJIKLL BB

I much admire I must admitA
The man who robs a BankB
It takes a lot of guts and gritA
For lack of which I thankB
The gods a chap 'twould make of meC
You wouldn't ask to teaC
-
I do not mean a burglar coveD
Who climbs into a houseE
From room to room flash lit to roveD
As quiet as a mouseE
Ah no in Crime he cannot rankB
With him who robs a BankB
-
Who seemeth not to care a whoopF
For danger at its heightG
Who handles what is known as 'soup '-
And dandles dynamiteG
Unto a bloke who can do thatH
I doff my bowler hatH
-
I think he is the kind of stuffI
To be a mighty manJ
In battlefield aye brave enoughI
The Cross VictorianK
To win and rise to high commandL
A hero in the landL
-
What General with all his swankB
Has guts enough to rob a BankB
