Awake To Smile Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGFGF HIHIFHFH

When I blink sunshine in my eyesA
And hail the amber mornB
Before the rosy dew drop driesA
With sparkle on the thornB
When boughs with robin rapture ringC
And bees hum in the mayD
Then call me young with heart of SpringC
Though I be greyD
-
But when no more I know the joyE
And urgence of that hourF
As like a happy hearted boyE
I leap to land aflowerF
When gusto I no longer feelG
To rouse with glad hoorayF
Then call me old and let me stealG
From men awayF
-
Let me awaken with a smileH
And go to garden gleeI
For there is such a little whileH
Of living left to meI
But when star wist I frail awayF
Lord let the hope beguileH
That to Ecstatic Light I mayF
Awake to smileH
