At The Golden Pig Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDF GHGHHEHE IJIJKEKE

Where once with lads I scoffed my beerA
The landlord's lass I've wedB
Now I am lord and master hereC
Thank God the old man's deadB
I stand behind a blooming barD
With belly like a tubE
And pals say seeing my cigarD
'Bill's wed a pub 'F
-
I wonder now if I did wellG
My freedom for to loseH
Knowing my wife is fly as hellG
I mind my 'Ps' and 'Qs'H
Oh what a fuss she made becauseH
I tweaked the barmaid's bubE
Alas a sorry day it wasH
I wed a pubE
-
Fat landlord of the Golden PigI
They call me 'mister' nowJ
And many a mug of beer I swigI
Yet don't get gay somehowJ
So farmer fellows lean and cleanK
Who sweat to earn your grubE
Although you haven't got a beanK
Don't wed a pubE
