Aspiration Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD BEBE

When I was daft as urchins areA
And full if fairy loreB
I aimed an arrow at a starA
And hit the barnyard doorB
-
I've shot at heaps of stars since thenC
but always it's the sameD
A barnyard door has mocked me whenC
Uranus was my aimD
-
So I'll shoot starward as of yoreB
Though wide my arrows fallE
I'd rather hit a big barn doorB
Then never aim at allE
