Alpine Holiday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GHIIJJ KKLLLMM

He took the grade in second quite a climbA
Dizzy and dangerous yet how sublimeA
The road went up and up it curved aroundB
The mountain and the gorge grew more profoundB
He drove serenely with no hint of hasteC
And then she felt his arm go round her waistC
-
She shrank she did not know him very wellD
Being like her a guest at the hotelD
Nice but a Frenchman On his driving handE
He wore like benedicks a golden bandE
Well how could she with grace refuse a driveF
So grand it made glad to be aliveF
-
Yet now she heard him whisper in her earG
Don't be afraid With one hand I can steerH
With one arm hold you Oh what perfect blissI
Darling please don't refuse me just one kissI
Here nigh to Heaven let is us rest awhileJ
Nay don't resist give me your lips your smileJ
-
So there in that remote and dizzy placeK
He wrestled with her for a moment's spaceK
Hearing her cry Oh please please let me goL
Let me get out You brute release me No noL
NOL
In that ravine was found their burnt out carM
Their bodies trapped and crisped into a charM
