The World After War. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFGEEHH CIJJKKLM

Not a morsel of food was to be foundA
Nor a drop of water made a pattering soundA
After facing the curse of damnationB
Which paralysed the entire Earth's populationB
The so called martyrs were no moreC
And the wounded crawled in the nauseating goreC
A fire had just ravaged through the countryD
That had set the death reapers freeD
-
The innocent civillians were slaughtered in millionsE
By the brute forces of the bloodthirsty minionsE
With no care for their families and livesF
Or thinking about their famished wivesG
The callers of the war sat on silken cushionsE
Unmoved and stoic to the destruction in tonsE
Probably waiting to wage more wars against mankindH
With greed and violence submerging their mindH
-
Keeping in mind the after effects of warC
We need to come out of our narrow minded jarI
To wage a war against violence and crimeJ
To eradicate them from the world in timeJ
Believing in the words Its never too lateK
We must embark to close hell's gateK
Before the demons get access hereL
To make this world a place of fearM
