| I only run I cannot walk | B |
| I have the beautiful sky to stalk | B |

| I am waiting for the cloud that rains | C |
| I am the maiden of the mist | D |
| I go on flowing with a twist | D |

| I make the hearts of people pure | E |
| They worship me like gods for sure | E |
| They come to me to find solace | F |
| And go back with a happy face | G |
| Some give me garlands of marigolds | H |
| And some silk clothes with many folds | H |
| I do love carrying these wondrous gifts | I |
| In my water along the drifts | I |

| After the dreariness and heat of the noon | J |
| I happily flow like silver that glows | K |
| The night wind soothes me when it blows | K |
| I go on without stopping for a rest | L |
| As that is what I like the best | L |
