The Architect Of Nature. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFFGGHH GGIJDDKKPassing by the beauty of the countryside | A |
With so many places to play and to hide | A |
With splendid colours spread everywhere | B |
A place of gloom and sorrow nowhere | B |
In this spectacular lap of nature's beauty | C |
I slowly forgot my cares and my duty | C |
But something I noticed among the bushes | D |
Was much more than the colours or the lushes | D |
- | |
It was just a newly woven spider's nest | E |
Much lesser colourful than the rest | E |
But the artistic skill exhibited | F |
Left me speechless and so outwitted | F |
How could a tiny insect build | G |
Something so patterned and so skilled | G |
It certainly was a weaver or a gifted designer | H |
Clustered in its small kingdom of fur | H |
- | |
Can human beings be ever so skilled | G |
Their ideas being such artistry filled | G |
Pondered I at the structure that left me awed | I |
As the patterns reflected the gift of God | J |
Finally I went back to my daily chores | D |
Driving back through the fields and the vast seashores | D |
The spider was completely left alone | K |
Resting in its abode probably tired till the bone | K |
