31st Century! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEE FFGGGGHH IIJJKKLL

Walking down my old house's laneA
I happened to look at the window paneA
Faded were the traces of human historyB
Their existence was of unsolved mysteryB
I wondered how things had come to passC
In such little time as this wasD
Was the world destined for thisE
Filled with machines no place for blissE
-
I am the only human to bloomF
In this earth so filled with gloomF
I look everywhere for one to findG
Who is like me and of my kindG
But dejection and loneliness turns me blindG
As my only companion is my mindG
Wiped out is the entire human raceH
With no robots no care for their traceH
-
As I got ready for returning homeI
I happened to see a nest like a domeI
The chirping birds gave me the hopeJ
That this loneliness was not long to copeJ
Clinging to this last thought of mineK
I hurried homewards as the clock struck nineK
I knew that the wait would not be longL
Until again the human beings would throngL
