Cactus Heart Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Like a dessert cactusA
full of tiny spikesB
appeared to be leastC
attractive so prickly and dullD
She built those fuzzy spikesB
to guard her inside fromE
any harm for inside dwellsF
a heart so soft and warmG
So vulnerable yet so braveH
so tough and adaptive to theI
dessert's dry land andJ
long time droughtK
Not any sandstorm can pullL
her down she's brave enoughM
to live with head up highN
to the rising sun and theI
resting moonO
