Blue Jay Bird Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHAHEABIJ

A blue jay a beautiful blue jayA
Humming melodies harmonious melodiesB
A verse a young verse develops into a phrase a youth phraseC
still waiting to be sungD
The song the newborn songE
is like bells a symphony of bellsF
swaying ring ting tingling to the tune the wonderful tuneG
A ray of sunshine a peek of sunshineH
lands on the blue jay the oh so beautiful blue jayA
As she sings her song her dream like song mixing and turning the sunshine the bright summer sunshineH
into the song oh the dream like songE
And the blue jay the oh so beautiful blue jayA
sings like the autumn breeze whistling through the swaying treesB
for the last timeI
One single tear was all you could hear as the blue jay went homeJ

Poet's note: This tells the story of a blue jay that is saying goodbye to the world and is saying goodbye to freedom. It has a deeper meaning, but I'm going to leave it to you to figure it out! :)
