Epic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJFJKL

I have lived in important places timesA
When great events were decided who ownedB
That half a rood of rock a no man's landC
Surrounded by our pitchfork armed claimsD
I heard the Duffys shouting Damn your soulE
And old McCabe stripped to the waist seenF
Step the plot defying blue cast steelG
Here is the march along these iron stonesH
That was the year of the Munich bother WhichI
Was more important I inclinedJ
To lose my faith in Ballyrush and GortinF
Till Homer's ghost came whispering to my mindJ
He said I made the Iliad from suchK
A local row Gods make their own importanceL
