I Still Remember My Beautiful Girl Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH IGGJ KKHGGLMGL GNDHOPG

I shall remember her as a very beautiful girlA
No more than five feet in heightB
With a smooth open foreheadC
Hair auban shading to brown in colourD
The beauty of her impeccably fair complexionE
Her refined blooming appearanceF
The wrath of a perfume and her literally sensibilityG
Always filled me with a singular happinessH
-
One day received an urgent message to meet her at Harare gardensI
A taxi come to a halt and she alightedG
I had known her to be a girl of precocious intelligence and sensitivityG
We sat from where we could see the mendicant sighns of varicoloured neon lights and frosty street lampsJ
-
Did you tell anyone that you're coming here l asked with consipiratorial voiceK
Yes she answered with a sharp hysteria tainted voiceK
She told me about her lonelinessH
No parents no relatives she was just alone in this big worldG
It left me lookin at her in bewilderment and curiosityG
There l made a sacrifice l took her to be my wifeL
She approached with solemn lookM
Sure an inner flow of life seemed to be sustaining her to her fight to seek some other worldG
Where she could refashion her lifeL
-
What a relationship we hadG
She was always wearing diplomatic smileN
She was as good as the weatherD
The night before ChristmasH
I don't know where she isO
The pain l can never explainP
I still love her and l really doG
