Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HBCIJG KLMNC CCOPA AQRRS TSUVVWCCX

Are you looking toward the skyA
Hoping to get somethingB
Aigbofa lanwoke ifakan kosi ni paaraC
Why and how would you doD
That when you're not AbrahamE
Unto him whose life was testedF
To be the father of all nationsG
-
Could you stand such a testH
With no hope for the better thingB
Try it and you see your life be betterC
Neither can the mother soil do the sameI
In the sacks she uses to exist on the gold coastJ
Our hopes are packed to other nationsG
-
What are our hopes and where lies our livesK
Even the grave can't question her judgmentL
Lest it dies the second deathM
Before the judgment of the MessiahN
Iku npalosan onpaloruC
-
The poor daily cry and the rich grow in their desireC
Our lads are the weapons of the merchant crewC
While their children are being nurtured for political sitsO
The beautiful ones are yet to be bornP
And the ugly is failing to dieA
-
This is the stream of our daily cryA
Haven't lost focus the useQ
Of hijab is the major talk in townR
That our schools are forced to be closed downR
All in a pretense of the right to religion and associationS
-
Neglecting that not all right is absoluteT
For the purpose of peace of the nationS
Look into my eyes and tell me thatU
My skull has gone below my ankleV
And I will tell you that a trialV
Putting on this right cant be handledW
Think of think my dearC
Cos the mother soil needs us more for it to be clearC
Better than being the generation of Cain for the power that rests in usX
