| Embracing all in that sacred somber space | D |

| And the land trembled as if in an ancient spell | E |
| At Calvary love and pain intertwined | F |
| In that moment the depth of humanity defined | F |

| The middle one bearing the weight of all sin | G |
| A symbol of hope forlorn and akin | G |
| Above his head the inscription held truth | H |
| The king of the Jews a declaration uncouth | H |

| Somewhere in Golgotha he gave me life | I |
| Amidst the anguish amidst the strife | I |
| His sacrifice echoed through time and space | D |
| Granting solace in that hallowed place | D |
