I’m a drained oasis
Sitting at the heart of a desert
A lone ranger
In the great Amazon
I’m a slave
Of the free world
Bound by the shackles
Of wishful thinking
I’m a strand of air
Intoxicated by perfumes of necessity
A great alms giver
But a partaker of superfluous solitude
Like a candle
Every day I melt down
Sharing the light
Sharing bliss
I’m a musical instrument
But in dissonance when played
A rose chocked by its thorns
Slowly wilting
Dear Oizys
Fill my pockets not with rubble
As River Ouse is intolerable
And Pelios too has filled my cup
Slave
