My country is under a siege
People continually wallow in pain
Everywhere is in confusion;
Masses continually kill like sheep,
I dream of my home country
Where my friends waited my return
That I truly miss my home;
Myanmar wails for her lost folks,
Fire and blood, missionaries and victims
Everything turned into grass field
The ground cries for its companies
Today the heavy clouds of war;
Enshroud your wonderful face,
Where are my sons, family and loyal guard
In empty homesteads chill winds reign
Spread in far land across the ocean;
Like little birds weep for their dead mom.
