Broken Lightening Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHGIJGKLMNOPQR MSGCTUVWFQXYP

We used to be a force to be reckoned withA
We used to be strong enough to counter every attackB
Whether it be thrown by life or fellow loversC
We were strong enough to fight against them allD
But then something happenedE
You became distantF
You became coldG
You started to withdrawH
Like I was some sort of moldG
You gave excuses for coming home lateI
You made me wait at all our dinner datesJ
You made me sleep every night alone and coldG
You turned my heart to be as hard as stoneK
What happened to being together foreverL
What happened to living forever with the one you loveM
What happened to no secretsN
What happened to no liesO
Just yesterday we were being attributed to lighteningP
Being sure and steadyQ
Being strong and energeticR
We were called the strongest elemental force because of our loveM
But I guess they were wrongS
After a few years our brand new love had gotten oldG
The spark and fire that everyone knew had died out leaving only cold embersC
Telling the world that even the strongest of hearts could be put downT
Everyone who fell in love because of us still look up to usU
To prove to the world that not even fire and brimstone can keep us apartV
But there is no point in proving what isn't thereW
Even our thunderstorms are silentF
No need to live with past gloryQ
We loved and we lostX
You left my life with a lot of hurt and painY
Now we're nothing more but broken lighteningP
