| We used to be strong enough to counter every attack | B |
| Whether it be thrown by life or fellow lovers | C |
| We were strong enough to fight against them all | D |
| But then something happened | E |
| You became distant | F |
| You became cold | G |
| You started to withdraw | H |
| Like I was some sort of mold | G |
| You gave excuses for coming home late | I |
| You made me wait at all our dinner dates | J |
| You made me sleep every night alone and cold | G |
| You turned my heart to be as hard as stone | K |
| What happened to being together forever | L |
| What happened to living forever with the one you love | M |
| What happened to no secrets | N |
| What happened to no lies | O |
| Just yesterday we were being attributed to lightening | P |
| Being sure and steady | Q |
| Being strong and energetic | R |
| We were called the strongest elemental force because of our love | M |
| But I guess they were wrong | S |
| After a few years our brand new love had gotten old | G |
| The spark and fire that everyone knew had died out leaving only cold embers | C |
| Telling the world that even the strongest of hearts could be put down | T |
| Everyone who fell in love because of us still look up to us | U |
| To prove to the world that not even fire and brimstone can keep us apart | V |
| But there is no point in proving what isn't there | W |
| Even our thunderstorms are silent | F |
| No need to live with past glory | Q |
| We loved and we lost | X |
| You left my life with a lot of hurt and pain | Y |
| Now we're nothing more but broken lightening | P |
