| Come on Sir to our worthy friends explain | K |

| Your emble what d'ye call it is Heathen Greek | M |
| To tongue or pudding thou hast no pretence | N |
| Learning thy talent is but mine is sense | N |

| Blaming or praising things as I thought fit | P |
| I for this conduct had what I deserved | Q |

| But thanks to my indulgent stars I eat | S |

| O dearest Andrew says the humble droll | I |
| Henceforth may I obey and thou control | I |
| Provided thou impart thy useful skill | U |
| Bow then says Andrew and for once I will | U |
| Be of your patron's mind whate'er he says | N |
| Sleep very much think little and talk less | N |
| Mind neither good nor bad nor right nor wrong | V |
