Spring In The Alps Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABAB ACAC ACAC ADADADAD EFEGEGEGH

THE flowers are at their BacchanalsA
Among the lusty greenB
Wild Orchis and Narcissus waltzA
With Marguerite for queenB
Birds join in glees and madrigalsA
To little loves unseenB
And unimprisoned WaterfallsA
Flash laughing in betweenB
-
The Sunlight leaping from the HeightsA
Flames o'er the fields of MayC
Winged with unnumbered swallow flightsA
Fresh from the long sea wayC
-
And butterflies and insect mitesA
Born with the new blown dayC
Cross fires in shifting opal lightsA
From spray to beckoning sprayC
-
The dandelion puffs her ballsA
Free spinsters of the airD
Who scorn to wait for beetle callsA
Or bees to find them fairD
But breaking through the painted wallsA
Their sisters tamely bearD
Fly off in dancing down which fallsA
And sprouts up everywhereD
-
And far above Earth's flower filled lapE
And rosy revelryF
The mountain mothers feed her sapE
From herded clouds on highG
Each pinnacle and frozen papE
Whose life has long gone byG
A bridge which spans the mighty gapE
Between the earth and skyG
