Thief Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGA HIGJ BKLM

I believe that there s a thief in this yardA
Somebody went in my house and stole my moneyB
I didn t catch the person red handedC
So I don t know for sure who the culprit isD
-
Everyone who lives on the premises is a suspectE
But the prime suspect is a teenage boyF
It doesn t appear that it was a prowlerG
So it must have been a tenant of the yardA
-
The bad minded tenants are envious of my successH
Furthermore they covet my possessionsI
The nasty Negro who stole my money won t prosperG
I don t trust sneaky rats so I changed the locksJ
-
You stole my money because you were hungryB
The money that you stole from me will soon finishK
And you ll soon be hungry again for sureL
You won t stop stealing until you lose your lifeM
