The Harvest had just begun at a Seventh Day Adventist ChurchA
Brother and Sister Brown arrived there early in fancy clothesB
The stingy couple did not bring any gifts for the HarvestC

A mouthy deacon with prying eyes approached them at the gateD
Good morning Brother and Sister Brown he said heartilyE
Mr and Mrs Brown politely returned the greetingF
-
The inquisitive deacon immediately asked Mrs BrownG
Why did you and your husband come here with empty handsH
You didn t even bring a dozen eggs for the harvest he addedI
-
Mr Brown said nothing but his wife bluntly repliedJ
I can t lay neither can Mr Brown so how the hell could we get eggsK
And this was the funniest joke at the harvest IngatheringF
