My Greek Goddess Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGGGG BHGGI BJGKG LGMNJ

I open my eyes once more to lonelinessA
My mood is like the gloom of the morningB
I look outside at the swans in the mizzleC
I admire the vivid colours of the rainbowD
It paints a nice picture across the gray skyE
-
Cold water is dripping from the panesF
I m standing here reminiscing about KoreG
We had enjoyable moments togetherG
Now silence replaces her cry and laughterG
I should compose a moving love storyG
-
Kore was too beautiful for a human beingB
I thought she d never do what I askedH
But she showed no reluctance to please meG
I was so proud to go anywhere with herG
My Greek goddess added sunshine to my dayI
-
She was full of fun and life was worth livingB
I ll never have such an experience againJ
I was so sure we had a perfect love affairG
And I unrealistically felt that it wouldn t endK
I could see no likelihood of her leaving meG
-
Why did I lose the girl I love so muchL
I don t think I can go through life without herG
Why do such depressing things happenM
How I wish I could win back her heartN
I want to be with my Greek goddess againJ
