I hold her by the hand | C |
And off we go together down the street | D |
I start walking too fast for her | E |
She asks me to slow down | F |
I observe her stride | G |
And three of her steps make one of mine | H |

I take her to Taco Bell to buy her an ice cream | I |
The ice cream falls off the cone | J |
And it makes a splatter on the floor | K |
She points to the ground and cries | L |
Daddy daddy I want back my ice cream | I |

We go to the sweet shop to get her a treat | D |
The little girl wants everything she sees | M |
Oh she s such a delight | N |
She brightens up my day | O |
And she makes the vendor smile | P |
She gets a large lollipop and she beams | Q |

We re now in the department store | K |
I ll buy some new clothes for her | E |
She tries on a pair of slippers | R |
They look so cute on her tiny feet | D |
She takes a Raggedy Ann doll to the cashier | S |
And then she skips along with me | T |

A neighbour waves to us and say | O |
She s such a sweet little darling | A |
And an elderly woman asks me | T |
