Independent Thinking Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEBAF GHIJGKLM NOPQRSTD

What do preachers and teachers have against independent thinkingA
If you should not think for yourselves who should think for youB
The objective of my writing is to draw people s attention to serious issuesC
I am an independent thinker and that is what I will always beD
Why do religious fanatics think something is wrong with thatE
They strongly oppose your views because they intend to misguide youB
The world needs more people with independent thinkingA
I do not trust anybody who tells me that I should not think for myselfF
-
They indoctrinate people with beliefs myths and nonsensical theoriesG
I will publicly dispute their stories and their faulty teachingsH
The originators of these things attributed even natural occurrences to the godsI
Many things in their confusing doctrines do not add upJ
The sources of information are full of loose ends and inaccuraciesG
I refuse to accept their interpretation of ancient writings without questionK
Nobody knows the truth about the origin of physical lifeL
So their hypothesis does not carry a greater weight than mine doesM
-
Who gave them the right to judge and to determine laws and principlesN
They want a malleable society that they can easily mislead and manipulateO
I will not keep my silence on their deception and their false claimsP
Neither will I turn a blind eye to the exploitation of my peopleQ
They teach about supernatural things that they themselves do not understandR
Do they expect me to stand aside while they brainwash my raceS
They are not the only ones who can think everybody has a brainT
I have a mind of my own and I will not allow anybody to think for meD
