In My Heart, You're Still Here Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDE FGHIJK LKAMN

I think my eyes are going crazyA
They keep telling me that I m seeing youB
My ears must be fooling meA
I still hear your sweet voice speakingC
My mind is living in the pastD
It has forgotten that you re goneE
-
There must be something wrong with my heartF
For it is convinced that we re still in loveG
I talk to you just as I did beforeH
I set the table for two as if we re dining togetherI
And I picture you lying in the empty couchJ
Your presence is all over the house as when you were hereK
-
I d crave you if I could accept that you re no longer mineL
But in my heart you re still hereK
Everyone knows that our affair is over except meA
I don t miss you because nothing has changed since you leftM
Your love is so great that it lives on in my mindN
