You won t believe that this is really a dreamA
-
I was walking on a long road with my wifeB
She had on a red dressC
The streetlights were far apartD
So the road was mostly darkE
The night was cold because it had rained earlierF
We felt a little drizzleG
Puddles of water were on the roadH
-
She stopped suddenly near an intersectionI
I was wondering why she stoppedJ
She saw something on the other side of the roadH
And she was gazing at it in astonishmentK
I didn t see anything unusualG
Something was drawing her attentionI
I didn t know what it wasL
-
She went across the road and headed for the cornerF
I asked her where she was goingM
But she didn t answer meN
She seemed to have lost cognisance of things around herF
I continued walking down the roadH
For I thought she would soon follow meN
-
I looked back a few times to see if she was comingM
But she didn t appearO
I stopped and waited for herF
But she didn t comeP
I walked back up the road to see what happened to herF
When I got to the corner she wasn t thereQ
She was nowhere to be foundR
-
I was so worried about my wifeB
Knowing her she would be unlikely to leave without meN
I slowly walked down the road that she tookS
It appeared to be a dead endT
Two girls were standing at the cornerF
I looked in the homes on both sides of the roadH
But I saw no trace of my wifeB
-
Strangely I said nothing to the girlsU
I didn t ask them if they saw a woman in a red dress pass byV
I was so confused I couldn t think straightW
Furthermore I didn t expect a supernatural occurrenceX
Although the whole thing seemed a bit strangeY
I thought I d find her and everything would be okayZ
-
I crossed a low bridge near the end of the cul de sacA2
And I went into the front of an open yardB2
Sadly my wife wasn t thereQ
I didn t say anything to anybodyN
For I thought they would think I was crazyN
I looked around for a while and then I leftC2
-
Something didn t make senseD2
She couldn t have gone home by herselfE2
The only way out was to pass meN
I went home with a little feeling of hopeF2
When I got home she wasn t thereQ
I didn t know what to thinkG2
How could it be possibleG
-
I went back where the event occurred to try to find herF
But my search for her was in vainH2
My wife disappeared mysteriouslyN
And I never saw her againI2
It seemed that she was abducted by a supernatural entityN
I was overcome with intense grief and fearO
How I regretted that I didn t go across the road with herF
-
The loss of my wife was so unbearableG
And I wanted to know where she wasL
I asked God to show me what happened to herF
Perhaps knowing it would ease the painH2
God didn t reveal anything to meN
I woke up and saw my wife lying beside me in bedJ2
And I told her about the disturbing dream I hadK2
The dream disturbed me for many daysL2
