These Days Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEAFFA G

It is strange in these days how no one seems to careA
Not even to stand by you and help you overcome your fearsB
You walk alone because the one you trusted is the one with the spearC
It is strange in these days how no one seems to careA
Not even to hold an umbrella to shelter you from the rainD
You fought alone though the battle is overwhelming and fierceE
It is strange in these days how no one seems to careA
Not even to say here use this to wipe your tearsF
You tried climbing the mountain though surrounded by lions and bearsF
It is strange in these days that there is no one to hold your hand and say I will help take you thereA
