Strangers In The Hour Glass Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEDD FGHGCGIG FJKJL

Time like dust on the windsA
There and then it goesB
So are the eyes of those strangersC
As past their lives flowD
A brief glance never enoughE
Never enough to knowD
Where strangers in the hour glass ever hope to goD
-
This one is smiling softlyF
Lost in some sweet thoughtG
That one hiding painful scarsH
Of battles they have foughtG
Another speaks in lecturesC
For lessons must be taughtG
But each of a unique lifeI
A glance will show me naughtG
-
As for them same for meF
For in my shadow castJ
There is no reflection ofK
The tales that make my pastJ
Ignorant of where roads leadL
