Safe plumbed places | A |
Where I was wont to preen myself | B |

But for the abyss | A |
I wanted a plank beneath | C |
And horizons | A |

I was afraid of the silence | A |
And the slipping toe hold | D |
- | |
Oh could I now dive | E |
Into the unexplored deeps of me | F |
Delve and bring up and give | G |
All that is submerged encased unfolded | H |
That is yet the best | I |
