Rhyme Scheme: ABCCD ABEED FGHHA BIIDA BJJKKLM

I can't breatheA
For eight minutes and secondsB
George Floyd criedC
Just before he diedC
Before those who saw him pinned downD
-
I can't breatheA
For eight minutes and secondsB
George Floyd cried aloudE
And being witnessed by the crowdE
Just as he gets pinned downD
-
It took eight minutes and minutesF
To kill a manG
Dying for no reasonH
Like it's killing seasonH
But why kill no man that can't breatheA
-
For eight minutes and secondsB
Where a police officer decide to play GodI
To press their knee on his neck and what's oddI
They penned him downD
But he couldn't breatheA
-
It was eight minutes and secondsB
They let a man dieJ
On the street but whyJ
Why use their knee to killK
And now the world stands stillK
To see what will happen nextL
