All Things Conspire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGFGHIHJ| All things conspire to hold me from you | A |
| even my love | B |
| since that would mask you and unname you | A |
| till merely woman and man we live | C |
| All men wear arms against the rebel | D |
| and they are wise | E |
| since the sound world they know and stable | D |
| is eaten away by lovers eyes | E |
| All things conspire to stand between us | F |
| even you and I | G |
| who still command us still unjoin us | F |
| and drive us forward till we die | G |
| Not till those fiery ghosts are laid | H |
| shall we be one | I |
| Till then they whet our double blade | H |
| and use the turning world for stone | J |
