Rhyme Scheme: ABC BBBDEB FGBB HBBB BIBB JBHBK LHBM BHHH

Betrothed to the lord of the ringA
Fingers engaged and encagedB
Ring a bribe to marital blissC
-
Many a woman faithfully fatedB
and devotedB
Men culturally foot loosedB
and fancy freeD
Their fingers have no signsE
of been affiancedB
-
Though a borrowed cultureF
But women the cross bearersG
Men extricated from its entanglementB
Who said men can t be engagedB
-
Married women adore their ringsH
But connubial men abuse itB
Society mutes to their promiscuityB
Imbalance treatmentB
-
If she stops to wear itB
She will be tagged an adulterousI
and walker of iniquityB
Why are women culturally disfavouredB
-
To curtail the rate of heart breaksJ
Men should be conditionedB
To wear their nuptial ringsH
Both fianc and fianc eB
Are bonded to their vowsK
-
Anointed rings a warning signalsL
To the slay queens and slay kingsH
Faithfulness is a virtueB
to a healthy relationshipM
-
Cheating is outdatedB
Why not try faithfulnessH
Men of faith are fated to faithfulnessH
Only the weak cheatsH
